Saudi Arabia's Clerics have renewed a Fatwa which prohibits people from playing Pokemon.
Fatwa was issued for the first time in 2001 on Pokemon when its been played with cards. Now, The renewal warns people against the mobile phone application Pokemon Go which took the world by storm.
Clerics believe Pokemon violated the Islamic Prohibitions against gambling and the crosses in the game are a symbol of Christianity. They even complain Parents use the game for rewarding or punishing their children and there is every possibility of money transactions while playing the game.
Pokemon Go, the virtual reality game, prompts Users to chase digital critters popping up when they move in the real world.
