Terrorists haven't even spared the Muslim holy city Mecca. A suicide-bomber planned to blew himself up on Friday. Luckily, Saudi Security Forces foiled the destructive mission before it's too late.
Reportedly, 3 Cells chalked out a plan to target worshippers and security forces at the Grand Mosque in Mecca as the holy month of Ramzan nears end. Saudi Security Forces managed to trap the Suicide Bomber in a house located in the Ajyad al-Masafi which is near the Mosque. After exchange of fire with the security forces for sometime, The suicide bomber blew up the building using explosives. Five Members of the security forces and six foreigners were injured in the incident. Security Forces took five suspected Militants including a woman into custody.
Holy month of Ramadan concludes with Eid-al-Fitr which is on Sunday (June 25th). Muslims across the World visit Mecca during this period for the divine blessings of almighty.
