The news of IT raids on Tamil hero Vijay Joseph has created a sensation not only in Tamil Nadu but across the nation. Vijay fans took to social media and supported their hero. A hashtag created by them #westandwithvijay was in trending for two days where the fans posted videos and memes supporting the star.
As the new development, many posters appeared across the Madurai district in Tamilnadu and the posters stated that only 'Thalapathy' tag line of Vijay which translates as a commander can save the state.
Talking about the raids, IT Department speoke[person said, "In the context of the issues of the prominent actor, it is stated that his investment in immovable properties and remuneration received from the said producer for acting in the film is the subject matter of investigation in the present search."
Some of the posters which were erupted in Madurai district in which AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy and political strategist Prashant Kishor can also be seen along with Vijay Joseph.
These posters are designed in a way that Prashant Kishor is telling Vijay to save Tamil Nadu which is "troubled".
"We have saved Andhra. You have to save troubled Tamil Nadu and take care of the welfare of the people," the message posters have.
