Schools In Telangana Fears The Covid-19 Pandemic

Schools in Telangana continue to fear the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic. Since the schools were permitted to resume operations, the fresh infections have been increasing at regular intervals.

As a shocking development, 86 students studying in various schools across the state in the past 24 hours. This comes days after 100 infections were detected on a single day in schools in the state.

With the constant spike in fresh infections, parents of the students are thinking twice to send their kids to schools given the Coronavirus fear in the state.

Two schools in Telangana reported 28 infections of the pandemic, while an ST Boys Hostel witnessed 24 new infections in the medical camp. 24 infections were reported after 105 students were tested.

The medical authorities swung into action and closed the school premises. The students who tested positive and their primary contacts have also been shifted to the quarantine facility.

Following the spike in new infections, the Telangana government is said to be working on whether the educational institutions should be permitted to function or not. An official announcement is awaited.
