Om Bahadur (51), who is the security guard of Kodanad Estate owned by former Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalithaa, was hacked to death in the early hours of Monday. Another Watchman (Krishna Bahadur) who tried to save Om was injured severely. This brutal attack took place at Gate No.10 of Kodanad Estate.
