Corona Effect: Seized 2-Wheelers To Be Given Back Only After 3 Months

Has your two-wheeler been seized by the cops during the lockdown? Then you may well have wait for at least three more months to get your vehicle back. The two-wheeler owners may also have to face imprisonment, though for a short period. They may have to do rounds of the courts and the police stations to get their vehicles as the provisions of Section 188 of the IPC has very tough provisions.

Police sources say that over 35000 vehicles have been seized during the lockdown and they have been kept in places like Khajaguda Traffic training institute,Kukatpally, Metro Station, Moinabad Police Station, Goshamahal Stadium and Amberpet Car headquarters.  

The police say that the vehicles need to be overhauled before use again as they have remained unused for more than four months. The police said strict action would be taken against the violators of the lockdown rules and advised the people to implement lockdown sincere.
