Sri Lankan Sports Ministry revealed an 3-member Enquiry Committee has found out that Selectors of National Women's Cricket Team had sexually exploited Several Players.
Recently, A senior player was denied place in the National team just because she refused to perform sexual favours. The player then appeared before media alleging team management and selectors had asked women cricketers to have sex with them if they want to be part of the team.
Sports Ministry formed a 3-member committee headed by retired Supreme Court Judge Nimal Dissanayake. The panel report found out that players have been sexually harassed. Now, The Ministry is going to take disciplinary action against those members who were found guilty.
