In yet another tragic instance of the growing "extreme selfie craze" among youth, two of the youth hailed from Vizag died while taking selfie at waterfalls. The deceased were identified as A Sundara Rao and P Nani (20) and both were residents of Gajuwaka area.
Going into details a group of youth, including two girls, had gone on a picnic to the waterfalls. The friends had gone tothe Sariya waterfalls and the victims Sundara Rao and Nani, who were sitting on a rock near the waterfalls accidentally slipped and fell into surging waters.
As per eyewitness one of them had slipped while taking selfies and the other had tried to save him.Both lost their balance and got washed away in the surging waters.Their friends could not save them. Ananthagiri police has registered a case and an investigation is on.
