Bombay Stock Market crash: Rs 7 Lakh Crore lost!

Bombay Stock Market has seen one of the worst crash on Monday, making it the biggest fall ever for Sensex in a day. The BSE Sensex came down to 25,742 after crashing 1,625 points. Nifty ended with 7,809 after losing 491 points. The total loss in a day stood up to over Rs 7 lakh crore.

Experts say, The crash of Bombay Stock Market is no way because of the factors within the country but caused due to the turbulence in the Global Markets.

Heavy selling of shares was witnessed across realty, power, oil & gas, metal, auto, IT, capital goods and bankex.

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley assured this turbulence is just temporary and markets will settle down soon. He informs that the Reserve Bank of India is having a close look at the turbulence in global markets.
