CM Jagan Launches 'Jagananna Vidya Kanuka' Scheme, 52 Lakh Benificiaries To Get Kits
YSRCP supreme, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy started the 'Jagananna Vidya Kanuka' scheme, one of his flagship schemes of Navaratnalu, he promised during the election campaign.
The scheme was launched at the Punadipadu Government High School in Krishna district. Under this scheme, around 52 lakh beneficiaries will be getting the Vidya Kanuka kits.
Students studying from class 1 to class 10 in the government schools across the state will be given these kits. These kits come with three pairs of uniform, a pair of shoes, two pairs of socks, textbooks, notebooks, a belt, and a Schoolbag
It is believed that the 'Jagananna Vidya Kanuka' that will be given to the students will cost around Rs 1600 per kit. The government has spent a total of Rs 650 crore for the scheme.
