Sexual harassment case against Secunderabad Railway SP

Secunderabad Railway Superintendent of Police (SP) Janardhan, has been booked in a case of sexcual harassment. Government Railway Police (GRP) has registered a case against Railway SP, J. Janardhan and two others junior assistant Babu Rao and a woman employee named Mallika.

The case was booked after High Court had directed the GRP. The high court responded on the petition of a one Kanaka Durga, clerk at railway SP office

Kanaka Durga who was working as  clerk at railway SP office accused the three of sexual assault at office. According to her, SP Janardhan in the presence of Mallika and Babu Rao had sexually assaulted her and later threastened to kill her if reveals the matter.

Kanaka Durga tried to book a case on SP but when Police refused to register her case Kanaka Durga later approached High Court.After heaing the petition court ordered RPF to book a case against SP.

 Following directions of the court, the GRP Secunderabad registered a case under 354, 506, R/W 34 of the Indian Penal Code against the three persons. However, Janardhan refuted the allegations and said it’s a bid to take revenge against him for identifying her fake degree certificate's which she used to get job.
