Hasin Jahan who happens to be the estranged wife of Indian Cricketer Mohammed Shami, took a plunge into politics. She joined Congress in the presence of Party's Mumbai President Sanjay Nirupam.
Apparently, Hasin Jahan began her career as a Model. She married Cricketer Shami and they have a child too. Much to everyone's shock, Hasin Jahan alleged her husband had resorted to physical abuse and maintained extra-marital affairs. In Apriil this year, She had even filed a domestic violence case against Shami in Kolkata.
Hasin Jahan met BCCI Chief few months ago so as to ensure Shami doesn't represent India again. The Cricket Board, however, offered a clean chit to Shami regarding the allegations of link-up with a Pakistani Woman.
Shami is part of the Indian Squad during the recent England Tour. He will be touring Australia soon for the four match Test Series.
