BCCI New President unanimously elected

Shashank Manohar is being unanimously elected as President of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Sunday. This decision was announced officially post the Special General Meeting of the BCCI held in Mumbai Today.

The Nagpur-based Lawyer's first stint as BCCI President lasted for three year, between 2008 to 2009 and 2010 to 2011. He is now ready for the second stint as BCCI's supreme authority.

Find a new BCCI Chief turned inevitable post the sudden demise of existing president Jagmohan Dalmiya. The Bengal Cricket Association Supremo got elected for BCCI top post in March this year after Supreme Court asked N Srinivasan to step down due to conflict of interest. He, however, couldn't serve for more than 7 months due to untimely death.

Shashank Manohar's Firm Stand on Corruption and Clean Image fetched him the BCCI President post for the second time.
