Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman's Theory on the slump in the Automobile Industry since April 2019 has been criticized by media, public and experts. The Minister opined car sales has dropped drastically in the recent months as those in the age group of 20 to 40 has been preferring Ola and Uber rides rather than paying monthly EMIs by owning a Car.
