Shikhar Dhawan Becomes only Indian to Join Elite List!

Left-handed batsman Shikhar Dhawan who took a small break from the show due to his injury is making a strong comeback. In the ongoing IPL season, he is shining big with his bat. In the process, he made a big record and established himself as the only Indian player to achieve the rare record.

Despite Punjab winning the edge-of-the-seat corner match on Friday, the Punjab Kings team has one thing to cheer about as he receded the milestone of smashing 1000 fours in the T20 history. In the match against Gujrat Titans, Dhawan scored three boundaries and became the batsman with the highest number of fours in T20.

Looking at the other players in the elite list, Run Machine Virat Kohli and Hitman Rohit Sharma are in the next positions among the Indians with 917 and 875 boundaries. The overseas batsmen have been leading the list and among the Indians, the three batsmen are at the top position.

In the overall list, legendary player Chris Gayle is at the top with as many as 1132 boundaries, followed by Alex Hales(1054), David Warner(1005), Aaron Finch(1004), and Shikhar Dhawan(1001).

Talking about the match result, the Punjab team had managed to put a score of 189 for the loss of nine wickets. While the match came to the last over, Rahul Tewatia smashed two sixes off the last two balls and took his side to the win.
