Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan had an unpleasant start to his South Africa tour. The cricketer's wife Aesha and children weren't allowed to board South Africa-bound Emirates flight from Dubai.
Shikhar Dhawan was asked to submit birth certificates of his children and other documents at the Dubai Airport. Family Members of the cricketer weren't allowed to fly as the documents weren't produced. 'They are now at Dubai airport waiting for the documents to arrive,' he told.
Expressing anguish on Twitter over the unprofessionalism from Emirates, Dhawan questioned, 'Why didn't the Airline notify about such a situation when we were boarding the plane from Mumbai?'.
The left-handed cricketer is part of Team India squad for South Africa Tests starting from January 5th, 2018.
