The Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) is having a wonderful run in the by-elections as the party is emerging victorious in one of the other. After Bihar, the party has won Madhya Pradesh by-polls.
In the much anticipated Madhya Pardesh by-polls held in 28 constituencies, the Madhya Pradesh government led by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan registered a win in 19 out of the 28 seats.
Responding to a congratulatory tweet of wife, Sadhna Singh Chouhan, Shivraj Singh Chouhan called her his support in the victory and called her his strength and inspiration.
Sadhna Singh Chouhan tweeted "Congratulations on the victory" in Hindi by sharing a picture of the duo in which she can be seen feeding a sweet to him.
To the tweet, the Chief Minister replied in Hindi as "You are the support of every victory of my life. You are the source of my strength and inspiration. If you are with me, there will always be victory.
The 28 constituencies in the state fell vacant after 25 MLAs resigned from their posts and three lawmakers died. The resignations submitted by the Congress lawmakers in March 2020, made things easy for Chauhan to become the Chief Minister.
The by-polls is a significant win for the Madhya Pradesh government as the government's strength in the house increased. On the other hand, Congress has won a mere 8 seats.
