Shocker: Censor Chief demands Rs 1.5 lakh Bribe per Film!

The scandal involving Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) Chief Executive Officer Rakesh Kumar throws a light on many shocking facts.

Reportedly, Rakesh Kumar used to demand Rs 1.5 lakh for screening a film and issuing a clearance certificate within 3-4 days. He used to charge Rs 25,000 if the same process has to be completed in 7-8 days. For Short Film, He used to accept Rs 15,000 bribe.

Bollywood biggies including Salman Khan's 'Kick', Ajay Devagan's 'Singham Returns' and Vidya Balan's 'Bobby Jasoos' ran into trouble when applied for Censor. Even Shahrukh Khan's upcoming flick 'Happy New Year' has been in the list. Producers had paid the amount demanded by the Central Board Chief as they can't afford any delay in release. Mr. Kumar even threatened the producers about chopping off item songs and bold scenes if his demands weren't met.

CBI Officials who were investigating the case informed they found 3 expensive watches including brands like Rolex and Rado. Right now, The properties owned by Kumar has been tracked and a disproportionate assets case will be lodged against him.
