Shocking Four Days Liquor Collections In Telangana

Since the liquor shops are opened in the Telangana, tipplers queued up in large numbers to buy the alcohol. The government reopened more than 2000 outlets across the state. At almost all the liquor outlets, even stretched up to about one kilometre distance queues during the peak hours.

Interestingly, the state of Telangana reportedly earned a revenue of more than Rs 600 crores in these four days. Around Rs 149 crore sales were recorded from liquor depots on Saturday alone.

Rs 72.5 crores on May 6, Rs 188.2 crores on May 7th and Rs 190.47 crores on May 8th was reported in the series of days.  But compared to other states, the liquor prices are increased very less in Telangana. The government is selling the liquor with 11 percent on Cheap Liquor and a 16 percent increase on expensive Liquor in the state.
