The shocking incident of mother-son suicide which is dubbed as Kamaraeddy lodge suicide case had become quite a sensation and even a few national media outlets have covered the news. The issue took a political turn when the suicide letter and last selfie video of victims pointed fingers against a few leaders.
In the suicide letter, the victims have alleged that a few TRS leaders were harassing them and as they were unable to bear it, they are taking the extreme step. They have also named a CI in the letter and alleged that the cop also harassed them.
Now the case saw a big development as the investigation officers have arrested as many as seven people in connection with the case, including the CI who is facing allegations of taking the TRS leaders' side in the case, media reports said.
The deceased victims in their last selfie video have claimed the harassment they faced from the accused including Ramayampet Municipal chairperson Palle Jitender Goud and a few others. Based on the same, they were reportedly arrested by the cops.
Sadly this is not the first time that the TRS leaders are accused of abetting suicide. Earlier, TRS MLA's son Vanama Raghavendra Rao was arrested on similar charges and he was later granted bail. The TRS party had swung into action and he was dismissed from the party. Now the latest issue has popped up which says that a few leaders belonging to the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi were reportedly arrested by the cops.
There are a few similarities between the two cases, both issues are related to the party leaders and the leaders were after the belongings of the victims. While the first issue deals with the alleged land grabbing from the leaders, the second one is related to business. The Victims were forced to give shares in their business which they have given their blood and sweat.
Knowing that they cannot win over the big forces, they took the extreme step. Learning from the mistakes in both incidents, the TRS party should warn the leaders to stay out of such things, or else the party's damage will go for a toss.
