Telangana Government has been facing criticism for the way in which Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) 2017 is being conducted. Opposition Parties in the state were finding fault with Government making the Summit look like TRS Show.
Former Congress Minister DK Aruna questioned, 'IT & Municipal Minister KTR is taking part in Global Entrepreneurship Summit as there is no representation for woman in TRS Cabinet. Should we treat KTR as Woman Minister?'.
The Firebrand Leader felt its an insult that none of the Women Lawmakers from Telangana received invitation for Global Entrepreneurship Summit held in Hyderabad. '52 percent of 1500 delegates from 150 Nations taking part in GES 2017 are Women. In such a prestigious Summit, Telangana Women were sidelined. When Protocol isn't applicable for GHMC Mayor, Why is it applicable for KTR? Is it just because he is the son of CM?,' she asks.
DK Aruna slammed TRS for claimed credit for Hyderabad Metro Rail. 'It was during Congress regime, Foundation Stone was laid for Metro Rail. Works began during Kiran Kumar Reddy's tenure as CM. Due to the TRS Government, The burden increased by Rs 3,500 crore. Projects have been delayed to ensure Congress doesn't receive credit,' alleges the Legislator.
