Update: 2022-03-23 12:00 GMT
The suspicious deaths in West Godavari's Jangareddygudem had triggered a political storm in Andhra Pradesh. Alleging that the deaths were caused by the spurious liquor, the opposition Telugu Desam Party has been attacking the government and blaming the ruling outfit.

The opposition leaders are not leaving any stone unturned to protest against the deaths. Since day one of the Assembly sessions, the TDP has been protesting and the fight is still going on. On Wednesday too, the fight continued with the TDP leaders holding a protest by holding placards.

The TDP MLAs and MLCs have protested outside the Assembly by holding placards with text which says the sin of the deaths is on Chief Minister YS Jagan. The Telugu Desam Party leaders were joined by Nara Lokesh.

The opposition leaders are alleging that the ruling party is to be blamed for the lives lost and the blame is on the government. Breathing fire on selling cheap and toxic liquor the TDP leaders are demanding a discussion on the liquor and asking why the ruling party members are not holding the same.

Speaking to the media, Nara Lokesh alleged that the ruling party members are abusing him when the party is trying to fight for the people. I don't know what the leaders are after me and I wonder why they are not concerned about the public issues, he asked.
