Singapore Companies to bid for AP Capital

Singapore Companies Sembcorp Development and Ascendas-Singbridge are keen on collaborating with AP Government for the construction of proposed new capital Amaravathi.

Even during his recent visit to AP, Singapore's second minister for Trade and Industry S Iswaran has conveyed to Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu that many firms from his country are willing to take part in the construction of Amaravati. It was then Naidu informed the Singapore delegation that the company which promises speedy delivery and maximum employment will be given the top priority.

The developer for AP Capital will be locked based on the Swiss-challenge method. In this method, Any firm which lost the bid could challenge the company which is selected by coming up with a better working model. State Government will soon call for tenders for various construction projects in the proposed Capital region.
