Story of Telangana singer Madhu Priya has all the drama of a Telugu television serial.The young singer fell in love with a guy named Srikanth and married him four months ago against the wishes of her family.
On Saturday night Madhupriya's father Pedda Mallesh and other relatives mistook a person to be Srikanth and roundly thrashed him. The victim was later identified as Nayeem. Nayeem, who is a businessman, was admitted in Matrix hospital with injuries in Ramanthapur, has filed a case at Uppal police station. Nayeem suffered head and nose injuries and had to be hospitalized. Based on Nayeem's complaint, the Uppal police arrested Pedda Mallesh and three others on Monday night.
Its known that Madhu Priya approached the Humayun Nagar police station with a complaint that her husband Srikanth was harassing her for some time now. She made shocking allegations on her husband and after the counseling from police she changed her stand and called her husband as a nice man.
