Somireddy Dreams Shattered With Lokesh's Entry

Update: 2016-04-05 16:47 GMT
Rumors about Nara Lokesh induction into Cabinet are not dying. Earlier we heard reports about Lokesh's possible entry to Modi's cabinet.  The reports said that AP CM Chandrababu Naidu was keen that his son be inducted into the Union Cabinet so that centre can focus a bit on Andhra Pradesh.

For this he wanted Lokesh to enter the Rajya Sabha by fielding him in place of the present member YS Choudhary, who is now a Union minister. However Chandrababu Naidu seemed to have had second thoughts and the idea was dropped in last minute.

Now in the wake of State cabinet's reshuffle TDP circles are agog with curiosity whether Lokesh would find a place in the cabinet or not. Though Chandababu has so far not disclosed anything officially some leaders have begun clamoring for induction of Lokesh into the ministry.

If lokesh inducted into cabinet it will be a big dent for senior leader Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy. He  was having high hopes of getting cabinet berth this time but he may have to sacrifice his desire for Nara Lokesh.

In the meantime, Somireddy welcomed the idea of Lokesh joining the cabinet. While interacting with the media at Nellore, Somireddy made some comments about Lokesh entry to cabinet nad says State needs the services of Nara Lokesh in a bigger way.

Its already known that two senior leaders from the party offered to sacrifice their seats for lokesh. Buddha Venkanna, MLC from Krishna district and Bode Prasad, MLA from Penamaluru of Krishna district have expressed their readiness to leave their posts for Lokesh.
