Former Indian skipper and Board of Control for Cricket in India(BCCI) Saurav Ganguly, who is on cloud nine for the tremendous response the ongoing 13th edition of IPL has been receiving responded to conduct the next season of the tournament.
Speaking to a leading national daily, Sourav Ganguly hoped that the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League(IPL) will be conducted in India, unlike the current edition which is being conducted in UAE due to the pandemic outbreak.
The reports claimed that Saurav Ganguly, popularly known as 'Kolkata Prince' and 'Dada' hoped that by the time the next edition of the tournament is conducted, the Covid vaccine will be rolled out.
The BCCI boss maintained that the Middle East country United Arab Emirates(UAE) will be an option for the BCCI to conduct the next season if things won't get back to the normal position.
He even added that they haven't decided on the IPL auction and the decision on auction will be taken once the ongoing edition gets completed. The domestic season will get started next year.
