SRH bad fate continues in ongoing season too

Update: 2022-04-05 09:42 GMT
The Sunrisers Hyderabad franchise has had a not-so-good season in the previous season. Rubbing salts into the wounds, the team had a major fallout with former skipper David Warner. Warner and other key players including Jonny Bairstow were released before the mega auction. The decision is haunting the team management now.

SRH continues to fail big time in the IPL as it had lost all the games it played in the tournament in the ongoing season so far. The lack of quality players like David Warner and Jonny Bairstow is making the team look even weaker. The bad fate of SRH is continuing in the current season too.

To tell how bad the SRH situation is, the team is not in a position to chase even 170. The other day, SRH lost the match against Lucknow Super Giants as the Orange Army fell short of 12 runs while chasing a small target of 169. This tells us a big story about why SRH should see this as a big problem.

SRH has a good bowling attack and there is no doubt about that. The bowling attack is led by veteran speedster Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who is supported well by Umran Malik. Umran Malik is known for maintaining a good pace. T. Natarajan needs a special mention here.

However, matches cannot be won only by the bowlers and the batsmen should do their bit, which is missing in SRH. Despite the bowling attack restricting the opponents to a less score, batsmen unable to chase the target is a big concern for the fans and supporters.

Besides all this, the captaincy of Kane Williamson is not fruitful and the on-field decisions he is taking are not turning helpful. On top of this, he is not supporting the team with his bat. In the two matches SRH played he could not shine with the bat.

SRH fans are wondering what the team will do in the upcoming match as SRH will lock horns with the defending champions Chennai Super Kings. The Ravindra Jadeja-led yellow army enjoys a good batting line up and SRH will face a fierce challenge. We have to wait and see what SRH is up to.
