Sri Chaitanya Institutions Founder Is No More!

In an unfortunate incident, noted educationist Dr. Bopanna Satyanarayana, who founded the Sri Chaitanya group of Educational Institutions is no more. It is reported that he suffered a heart attack and he was taken to the nearby hospital. But, he was declared dead by doctors, reports said. Satyanarayana is 75 years old now.

His native place is near Vijayawada and his mortal remains will be sent there. His last rites will take place there. It is said that his last rites would be held after his daughter, who stays abroad, will come. His sudden demise came as a big surprise to everyone.

He is a doctor by profession and worked in England and Iran in the initial days. With the aim of providing quality education to students, he started the Sri Chaitanya colleges. His legacy in the education sector is a few decades old.

Sri Chaitanya College was started in 1986 in Vijayawada. As a pilot project, the college was started as a junior college for girls. In a phased manner, more colleges are set up across the state. Schools were also set up to expand its wings.

The Sri Chaitanya group of institutions are spread across the nation. There are hundreds of junior colleges, techno schools, and CBSE schools. Lakhs of students are studying in educational institutions.
