Despite the outbreak of the pandemic and rising positive cases, the Andhra Pradesh government made it clear that the SSC examinations will be conducted as per the schedule.
AP Education MinisterAudimulapu Suresh confirmed the same and said that the SSC examinations will be held from the 10th of July as per the schedule and the count of papers will be cut short from 11 to six.
The social distancing norms will be followed strictly while conducting the examinations. Students would be provided with safety masks and sanitizers while invigilators would be given gloves as a precautionary measure.
The SSC Examinations were postponed earlier with the dates clashing with the local body elections and again got postponed with the outbreak of the pandemic followed by the lockout.
Earlier the states like Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Punjab decided to cancel the SSC examinations as the positive cases are increasing rapidly. Students in these states will be postponed without appearing for the exams.
