TRS MLA Elvis Stephenson, the key witness in cash-for-vote scam, on Wednesday reached the ACB Court to record his statement in the presence of Justice. He was provided a bulletproof car and adequate security arrangements have been made. About 15-20 task force cops have taken care of his protection. The statement of Stephenson is very crucial in cash-for-vote case and the names he would reveal before the Magistrate are the key.
ACB served notices to TDP MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah under Section 160 asking him to appear before it before 5 PM on Friday for questioning regarding the cash-for-vote scam. As Sandra wasn't in the MLA Quarters at Hyderaguda, ACB Sleuths pasted it on the main door of his Quarter no. 208.
Sources say, ACB have collected information of Sandra's involvement in the scam. He is rumoured to be in touch with few TRS MLA hailing from Medak District before the MLC Polls.
