University of Hyderabad (UoH) First Year Student Praveen Kumar committed suicide in his hostel room in the early hours of Saturday.
Praveen Kumar's Roommates found him hanging from the ceiling fan when they returned to the hostel room from their departments at 5 am. Soon, He was rushed to the University's health care centre and the duty doctor who treated the youngster declared him brought dead. Still, Attempts were made to bring him back to life and later shifted to a private hospital for further treatment. Even there he was declared as dead soon after the arrival.
Reportedly, Praveen Kumar hails from Shadnagar in Mahbubnagar district. He is pursuing Master of Fine Arts in painting subject. He was allotted Room No.204 in L Hostel. Mr.Kumar belongs to the backward class. Cops were yet to figure out the reasons behind the suicide.
Notably, The suicide of UoH research scholar Rohit Vemula in January this year has become a nationwide issue.
