Why this Bollywood Filmmaker met AP CM?

Bollywood Filmmaker Subhash Ghai met AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu in Amaravati on Tuesday afternoon.

As per the sources, Subhash Ghai have plans to set up a Film Institute in Andhra Pradesh. He came to meet AP CM to seek the cooperation of the state government for the Film Institute. Chandrababu Naidu seems to have responded positively to the proposal.

Actually, There is talk about Telugu Film Industry migrating to Visakhapatnam post the bifurcation. Even few influential personalities have planned to establish film studios in the port city couple of years ago. However, Any such attempt to shift industry to AP didn't materialize so far. Much to everyone's surprise, Bollywood Director Subhash Ghai came forward to start a Film Institute in AP now. Will this be a stepping stone for much bigger changes going to happen in future?

Subhash Ghai directed classic films like 'Khalnayak', 'Ram Lakhan', 'Pardes' and 'Taal'. He, however, wasn't able to succeed as a filmmaker in the past 18 years.
