Former Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar often regarded as Little Master is a no-nonsense man. Gavaskar never menses his words while talking about issues pertaining to cricket.
In his recent interview, Sunil Gavaskar opened up about the much-talked-about issue between the cricket analysts and cricketing fans, paternity leave taken by Indian skipper Virat Kohli.
Gavaskar has slammed the Board of Control for Cricket in India(BCCI) for granting paternity leave to Virat Kohli and he claimed that the board is having different rules for different players.
Mentioning the example of left-arm yorker specialist T. Natarajan, who made an impressive international debut in T20s, Gavaskar said during the IPL playoffs the speedster became a father for the first time and he didn't return to his home.
Adding further, he found fault with the decision to keep the speedster as a net bowler despite his heroics with the bowl and his brilliant performance.
Talking about spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, the legendary player said, he was sidelined from the team not based on his performance but speaking his heart out,
He said, taking his bowling prowess into account no other team would have sidelined a bowler who has picked more than 350 Test wickets, who also has four centuries.
