Apex Court on Friday has asked High Court to take a decision on the quash petition within four weeks. SC given an option for the petitioner to approach it again if HC fails to do so in the given time.

The Counsel of Opposition MLA argued that stay should be lifted as reinvestigation was ordered only after ACB Court was satisfied with the voice samples proofs of CBN. Supreme Court, however, maintained that it can't interfere in that matter as High Court has given the stay but ordered the lower court to resolve the issue in the next four weeks.
