Supreme Court Stuns Karnataka BJP

Update: 2018-05-18 06:51 GMT
Karnataka Governor Vajubhai Vala gave scope for criticism by inviting BJP to form the government despite falling short of magic figure. While responding to the petition moved by Congress, Supreme Court refused to issue stay on the swearing-in ceremony of BS Yeddyurappa.

During Today's hearing, The Apex Court reduced the 15 days time allotted for BS Yeddyurappa to win vote of confidence. A deadline of 4 PM on Saturday was set by SC for the floor test. This order came as a bitter pill for BJP as it has to lure 8 MLAs of Congress and JD (S) by then.

BJP won 104 seats in the Assembly Polls 2018. An Independent Candidate extended support to it already. Which means, The Saffron Party is in need of another 7 MLAs to win the floor test.

Congress and JD (S) have shifted their MLAs to the star hotels in Hyderabad to prevent BJP from poaching them using Cabinet Berths and Cash Bags. What's gonna happen Tomorrow?
