Once again  firebrand YSR Congress party MLA from Nagari R K Roja got solace in the Supreme Court. Supreme Court has accepted the petition filed by YSRCP MLA Roja challenging the verdict delivered by the division bench of AP High Court regarding her suspension from the assembly for one year.  With this effect the apex court has issued notices to the Andhra Pradesh Government and the Assembly secretary. Its known that Roja has approached the Supreme Court challenging the verdict of the division bench of the High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad for the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Supreme court  has reportedly observed that  it was not right to say that the action against the MLA was taken not under Rule 340 (2), but under Rule 194. It  has questioned the justification behind the High Court's stating that rule 340 (2) was followed during suspension while saying that action was taken according to rule 194.

It also said that the High Court division bench was not right in taking this into account. Inquiry on the case has been postponed to the 21st of this month. With the Supreme Court admits the petition  she is now expecting a favorable judgment in the Court.
