Update: 2014-08-22 06:50 GMT
After disastrous loss in recent elections Congress in deep trouble on recent happenings as well. Even its not able to secure the minimum required seats for opposition in parliament. Few days before speaker Sumitra Mahajan who rejected opposition post to congress given a blow to congress party leaders.

In a surprise move today Supreme court issued a notice to central government and ordered to submit PMO opinion with-in four weeks of time.Supreme court given these orders on the complaint of  AAP leader Prashanth Bhushan who earlier approached SC on this. SC also questioned central government on how its going to proceed  on  Lokpal selection if there is no opposition leader in parliament. SC warned central to go with appropriate action to protect the damage of democracy on this issue instead of considering as political rivalry.

PMO is not available for any comment but many ministers earlier quoted that when there was no recognition on opposition for any other parties during Congress regime , then how can they are expecting now?. Seems the reply on this question is already available.
