External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj's Aircraft has gone off the radar for 14 minutes while she was traveling from Trivandrum to Mauritius.
The plane carrying Sushma Swaraj took off from Trivandrum at 2:08 pm. Problem was identified when IFC 31 wasn't able to contact Mauritius Air Traffic Control (ATC) even after staying within the required radius. Contact was finally established by 4:44 pm after aircraft was moved from Indian Airspace to Male ATC. At 4:58 pm, Pilots were able to contact Mauritius ATC to land safely.
Airport Authority of India (AAI) doesn't rule out failure of communication systems in the aircraft.
Sushma Swaraj planned to visit Mauritius while she was on her way to South Africa for the sake of Vishwa Hindu Sammelan in August 2018. Fortunately, No tragedy has happened.
