Former Beauty Queen Sushmita Sen on Monday appeared before the trial court in Chennai over a case related to the evasion of customs duty while importing Toyota Land Cruiser.

The trial court sought Sushmita Sen's appearance in the court for cross examination. As she had given a miss to the hearing repeatedly, A non-bailable warrant has been issued. Following which, Sushmita moved High Court for quashing of warrant and removal of her name in the case. However, HC directed her to appear in the trial court and hence she attended the hearing Today.
