The spine-chilling murder of celebrated Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala has shocked the entire nation. Besides condolence messages, many concerns were raised about the gun culture and the portrayal of the same in many private songs. A memorial was set up in Punjab as an honour for the singer.
Now the murder case saw a big development as the suspected gangsters are believed to have died in an encounter. It is said that an encounter took place between the cops and the suspected gangsters which ended up in the death of the suspects.
As per the media report, the cops got credible information about the whereabouts of the suspects. Based on the same they reached Cheecha Bhakna village in the Amritsar district.
However, the suspects reportedly started firing and with no option left, the cops responded similarly. As many as two suspects were gunned down by the cops in the encounter that lasted for over a few hours.
The sad part is that most of the time the singers n the Punjab music industry are targeted and killed by gangsters. There has been a long history of the alleged ties between the singers and gangsters. The gangs who support the other gang will be killed. The opposite gang is said to have attacked the singer.
History says that, earlier too, a few singers were attacked. The likes of Parmish Verma, Mankirat Aulakh, and Gippy Grewal were attacked in the past by the gangsters. Though the previous cases created big issues, Siddhuâs death created a big uproar.
