Swabhimani Paksha's Candidate Shot And Trashed By Masked Men

The Swabhimani Paksha candidate was reportedly fired by three masked men, while he was traveling in his car and thrashed him after pulling him out of the car. The incident took place in Amaravati district of Maharashtra.

According to the Shendurjana Ghat Inspector, Maruti Gedam, the attackers had set his car on fire after beating him.

Devendra Bhuyar who is contesting from Morshi seat on Swabhimani Paksha's ticket was traveling to Warud in his car along with some party workers when the attackers fired at the vehicle around 5:30 in the morning, said Gedam.

Later the attackers have stopped the vehicle forcibly and pulled out the boarders and started beating them. Then they have poured petrol on the vehicle and set it on fire.

After the incident, Bhuyar was taken to the hospital and the doctors said he is ok.

Bhuyar is contesting the state Assembly polls against BJP minister Anil Bonde from Morshi seat as an ally of the Congress and NCP parties.
