Will He Be South India's Yogi Adityanath?

Update: 2018-09-24 06:56 GMT
Does the BJP have an ace up its sleeves? Is it trying to unleash the swami bomb to upset the applecart of the rival political parties? It appears so.

Internal BJP surveys and feedbacks show that the BJP will stand to gain if it adopts a strident pro-Hindu stance in Telangana and the party has reportedly decided to unleash Swami Paripoornananda during the elections. That Swamy has political ambitions is well-known and his externment by the TRS Government has only added to his aura. Of late, several Hindi and English channels have termed him as South India's Yogi Adityanath.

It is reliably learnt that Swami Paripoornananda was asked to come to Delhi and meet Amit Shah. The meeting which took place on Friday was a very key one with just Amit Shah and Swami taking part in it. The party, it is revealed, is asking the Swami to contest from Nizamabad district, where the Muslim population is the highest after Hyderabad. Swami is also holding talks with his close confidants on the issue.  Another alternative is Swami organizing town hall meetings across Telangana to mobilize pro-Hindutwa elements. Whatever, this will be the first instance of a Sanyasi joining active politics in South India!!
