The approach of Telangana Congress Legislative Party (CLP) Leader K Jana Reddy towards the TRS Government didn't go down well with his own party men.
At the CLP Meeting convened by him to discuss the strategy to be adopted in the upcoming Assembly sessions, Congress MLAs came down heavily on Jana Reddy for having a soft corner towards the ruling TRS. They questioned him why didn't he refrained from criticizing TRS in the past two years despite its failures and how could be praise a ruling party being the Opposition Leader. At one point, Few Legislators even asked Jana Reddy to step down for failing to discharge his duties sincerely.
Jana Reddy defended himself saying his intention was only to given enough time for the newly formed Government to settle down. He, however, admits that the poll prospects of Congress party were damaged during GHMC Polls with his praise on KCR Rule. That's how the 3-hour long CLP Meeting went on..!
