Telangana Lok Sabha Election Results 2019 are no where close to the predictions offered by various Exit Polls. Most Exit Polls indicated Ruling TRS would win not less than 14 MP Seats, One Seat each for MIM, Congress and BJP.
In reality, TRS managed to win only 9 MP Seats. Which means, It ended up losing two seats more than that of 2014 Tally.
At one point, It appeared like Congress would bag four MP Seats (Malkajgiri - Revanth Reddy, Bhuvanagiri - Komatireddy, Nalgonda - Uttam Kumar Reddy, Chevella - Konda Vishweshwar Reddy). By the end of counting process, Congress Chevella Candidate Konda Vishweswar Reddy faced defeat by a margin of around 15,000 votes.
The biggest gainer is BJP which won four Lok Sabha Seats in Telangana. Much to everyone's surprise, BJP Candidate Dharmapuri Arvind defeated Kavita in Nizamabad.
Only the prediction of India Today-Axis was some what close to the actual result. It predicted 10 to 12 Seats for TRS, 1 to 3 seats for BJP and 1 seat for Congress.
