Hyd's Taj Falaknuma is now World's Best Palace Hotel

Taj Falaknuma which is the pride of Hyderabad has been declared as the best palace hotel in the World for the year 2015 by Trip Advisor.

Falaknuma Palace was built by Nizam's Prime Minister Nawab Vaqar-ul-Umra in the year 1893. The Nizam purchased it for himself after getting impressed by the architecture and grandeur. Falaknuma Palace used to be the official residence of Mir Mahboob Ali Khan who happens to be the Sixth Nizam from 1869 to 1911. This palace has been lying unused since 1911. The Taj Group of Hotels acquired it and the 60-room palace was opened for public in 2010 after 10 years of restoration.

Taj Falaknuma Palace bagged the coveted award for being the best in the hospitality Industry. Trip Advisor judged the palace located in Hyderabad as the best based on the reviews from travellers across the World. Falaknuma Palace General Manager Girish Sehgal claims offering world-class service and impeccable experience to the guests has always been the priority.

Falaknuma Palace has been a hot favourite for the big shots in Tollywood, Bollywood & Political circles. Salman Khan's Sister Arpita Khan wedding ceremony took place here. Vijay Mallya loves staying here whenever he is in the city, Virat Kohli & Anushka Sharma celebrated one of their birthdays and Alia Bhatt's Family spent their recent holiday in the palace.
