Veteran Filmmaker Tammareddy Bharadwaj lashed out at the Telugu NRIs who have been spreading hatred among people based on Caste equations.
Tammareddy: 'In those days, Obtaining US visa isn't a cakewalk. So, People used to respect NRIs a lot. We used to feel proud that so many of our classmates had gone to US. All the Telugus in US used to be like one family. Even Telugu CMs and Film Stars were invited for get togethers & events'.
'Now, It has come to the situation that people are hating to word Pravasa Andhrulu because of the caste based divisions. Rallies conducted when Politicians and Heroes visit US are annoying to say the least. Caste Politics & Division among Movie Buffs based on Community has polluted the foreign soil completely'.
'During Chandrababu Naidu's ongoing US Tour, An Individual sent an email accusing AP CM of visiting the foreign land for some illegal activities. That shows, To what level these people have stooped to! Do we need such kind of people? It's really painful to know that Telugu People were indulging in such activities. We would be proud if you (NRIs) stay together. Please stop identifying yourselves as Telugus if you continue to remain the same'.
