Update: 2016-04-19 07:53 GMT
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao drew severe flak from opposition parties  of the state on draught issue. CPM leader and party state convener Tammineni Veerabhadram castigated Chief Minister for his lack of involvement to launch the relief activities for drought victims in the state.

The CPM leader blamed KCR for just sticking to announcements and not taking up any measurements to help the victims. He questioned KCR how draught conditions will come under control when the Chief Minister sleeps in farm house.

"When people are crying for help, the Chief Minister is taking rest at his farmhouse in the sweltering summer," he said. He also demands government to sanction 10 crore rupees per each mandal in drought area.
