An Opposition Lawmaker pelted his shoe at the State Minister during the proceedings in State Assembly. This unfortunate incident took place in Punjab Today.
Congress MLA Tarlochan Singh Soondh threw his shoe at Minister Bikram Singh Majithia while staging a protest in the house. Demanding a discussion on the No-Trust Motion moved against BJP-Akali Dal Government, Congress Members entered into the well and surrounded the Speaker's podium.
Inspite of the protest, State Government continued the proceedings. Annoyed with it, Mr. Soondh removes his shoe and thrown it at Finance Minister Bikram Singh Majithia. This disgraceful act marked a new low and never been before such thing has happened in an Assembly.
Notably, The no-confidence motion was rejected by voice vote in Punjab Assembly on Monday. About 22 Congress MLAs didn't leave the Assembly since then.
