TDP feels PK will force BJP into its lap

Update: 2022-03-30 14:40 GMT
Chandrababu Naidu knows he can win only if there is an electoral alliance. All through his political career, he has relied on political alliances to come to power.
Realising that the YSRCP is still holding sway over the voters in AP, Chandrababu is desperately seeking alliances for the 2024 elections. He is trying to have an alliance with both the BJP as well as the Jana Sena to take on the might of the YSRCP in 2024.

While Jana Sena is clearly positive about aligning with the TDP and is already in alliance in the local body elections at several places, there is no response whatsoever from the BJP.

The BJP has time and again clarified that there is no question of an alliance with Chandrababu Naidu. It has been equally critical of both Jagan and Chandrababu Naidu.

But, sources close to Chandrababu are leaking info that Chandrababu will finally manage to bring the BJP around and have an alliance with it. The pro-Chandrababu media too has lapped up this line and are tom-tomming this as a breaking story. But, how will that happen? How will the BJP and the TDP come together? Who will bring them together?

The TDP sources say that Prashant Kishor will bring the BJP close to the TDP. The TDP feels that the BJP would be left with no option but to join hands with the BJP as PK is targeting the BJP everywhere.

He is targeting the BJP in Gujarat by aligning with the Congress. Similarly. In AP, he is helping Jagan against the BJP. So, the BJP, which wants to foil PK's attempts, will be left with no option but to join hands with the TDP, the party's thinking heads feel.

Will this happen? Let's wait and watch how the game unfolds.
