With the elections to the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation approaching fast, there is a flurry of political activity in Vizag. A large number of TDP and Jana Sena leaders are queuing up to join the YSRCP in Vizag. On Suday, senior leaders from both the TDP and Jana Sena – Allu Satyasri, Bapu Naidu, Ch Venkat Rao, L Prakasamma, Allu Sankar Rao and several others – have joined the YSRCP. Party MP MVV Satyanarayana and party city unit president Vamsikrishna Srinivas welcomed them into the party by wrapping a stole around their shoulders.

Speaking on the occasion, the MP slammed both Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan for opposing the three capital proposal. He said the Government was trying to decentralise the governance and ensure the equitable development of all the three regions. He called upon the people to hand out a massive victory to the YSRCP in the upcoming elections.

He said the TDP had done nothing during the past five years and had only tried to mislead the people of the state showing virtual models and 3D images. No real work was ever done in Amaravati during the Chandrababu Naidu regime, he said. Party senior leaders Ch Venkat Rao, K Raju, Alla Sivaganesh, N Ravi Kumar and others were present.
